St. Luke’s Imaging Center is, in reality, the “front door” of the hospital for many patients.  Preadmission testing; critical diagnostic imaging; pre and post surgical procedure orders etc. all begin in the St. Luke’s Imaging Center. St. Luke’s Imaging Center provides a full range of screening and diagnostic services for prevention and treatment of diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and osteoporosis.  Our radiologists are Board-Certified and specialty trained to provide the highest quality care for our patients.

As the gateway to most of our other services, the Imaging Center at St. Luke’s Hospital serves those seeking heart-related services such as stress tests, life-saving heart catheterization-angioplasty and stent procedures, and imaging, as well as patients who have various other diagnostic needs.

It is the vision of the Chairs and Committee that this Center of Excellence be an environment of calming assurance, comfort and compassion.  This new Patient/Family Waiting Center will reflect the Core Values St. Vincent’s HealthCare is noted for, including dedication to the best clinical experience with compassion and respect for the whole patient.  At a time of stress, anticipating a diagnosis, or waiting for medical answers and a plan of treatment, the new Patient/Family Waiting Center at St. Luke’s Imaging Center will provide a brief respite because of the tremendous dedication of the Red Rose Ball 2009 Committee.
