The 28th annual Red Rose Ball was a great success and raised over $250,000 for the St. Luke’s Patient/Family Imaging Waiting Center.  The annual black tie gala, held February 6, 2009 at the Jacksonville Marriott at Southpoint, began with cocktails at 7 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing at 8 p.m. with music provided by KTG Musical Entertainment. The silent and live auctions featured dozens of exciting items donated by local businesses along with original art.

The event Title Sponsor was Wachovia.  Presenting Sponsors were Bacardi Bottling Company, Premier Beverage Corporation and the Francis & Miranda Childress Foundation, Inc.

The evening’s hosts were Event Chairs Leigh and Bryan Fogle, Anne and Childress Lee and Nuni and Paul Rebenack, M.D.  Honorary Chairs are Dr. and Mrs. Harry W. Reinstine, Jr.
